Data Downloads disappearing?

Two unofficial servers, both have the Ark Data Downloads allowed. I had moved over around 200 saddles and various stacks of building materials with no problems yesterday. Now, everything I put IN the transfer slot stays for around 5 minutes then disappears, one by one. It never ends up on the other server and is unrecoverable from the original survivor that put it there in the first place.

Dinosaur transfers are still working fine and I've moved over several Rex and Mammoth with no issues at all, but building mats, weapons, and other items are going in but then disappearing...? I can be standing there with the Ark Data window open and watch the mats start moving out one stack at a time.

Any clue what's up?

Unfortunately it is a "known" problem. There are several discussions about it here.
No one can tell you why this is happening and there is no way to get your items back.
It also happend to me (and 2 other tribe members of mine).

From what I can tell it is happening if you put too much Items inside the ARK (can't tell you any number but from what I experienced with my tribe mates it happens at more than 200 or 300 items inside the ARK.

It is not affecting your Dino's or your Survivor itself. Only the itmes uploaded.

The problem is I guess that not even the developers can do anything about it because the items are stored locally on your PC (\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\LocalProfiles) inside the file called "PlayerLocalData.arkprofile".

If you delete this file you are able to upload again new items inside the ARK and items uploaded before are gone for good. But I guess there are gone anyway without any chance to get them back.

I'm not too worried about the loss of the materials... they are admin-spawned in on my server and moved over to another server I have no admin control on, so it's "easy come, easy go" apparently. :P I would however love to finish my bridge and castle the lazy-way and not have to go back out and farm for hours to get the stone I need. haha

I'll tinker around and see if I can figure out a solution to get some more stuff moved over successfully. Thanks for the reply. :)

SOLUTION! My friend Julak discovered that if you go into your Local game, and access the console/obelisk, you can remove items until the unknown limit is un-broken and then you may access your items again via an unofficial server console/obelisk.

Please confirm here if you have tried this after seeing an empty ARK Data Items area and solved the problem this way.

does not work as the items vanish, you cant remove them again cus they are not there, or unseen

Way to not actually read/comprehend/try what I am saying works, Belnick. Read it again, and try accessing in your Local game.

It wont always work because you still can';t clear all the items out, you need to delete a file to clear it out.
