Can't unlock Veteran Paleontologist Achievement!

I have unlocked each and every entry in the dossier and I've also unlocked The other "Veteran Survivor" achievement by killing broodmother. I tried to restart game 2-3 times after that, still no luck. Anyone facing similar issues? Any solution?

same issue here. I assumed it was because all the dinos are not released yet, nor the game. Prolly once all dinos are in game AND the game is officially released they will unlock that acheivement.?.?

I've tamed every tameable animal in the game more than once, including the Doedecuris and Mesopithecus, and yet I still haven't gotten the achievement.

It doesnt mean that you have to tame everything. It means u have to unlock the dossiers. Some dossiers require tamining, but then a few of them require you to kill such as bats, spiders, and the broodmother along with others. Guess there is a issue with the achievement though.

Yeah unlocking Broodmothers dossier is tricky. You need to be the person to get the killing blow on her so no dinos. We basically farmed several sets of artifacts and built a metal house at the blue obelisk. Then each person just soloed her until everyone got the achievement.

Took 2 days. Worth it. :)

I unlocked the broodmother dossier the same way, I hit the final blow and got that Achievement for it. But the Veteran Paleontologist isn't getting unlocked.

Actually, no. Many players have already got this achievement. Because the goal is to unlock dossier of ARK's initial specimens, not all. We don't know for sure which specimens are initial, but as we have unlocked all for now, we should've got that achievement by now.

Many previous forum posts suggest that restarting game solves the problem, but that didn't worked for us :|

Actually, no. Many players have already got this achievement. Because the goal is to unlock dossier of ARK's initial specimens, not all. We don't know for sure which specimens are initial, but as we have unlocked all for now, we should've got that achievement by now.

Ok, say you unlock that acheivement and next week they release a new dino. So now there is a new dino you havent tamed or killed. What are they going to do, take the acheivement away from you so you can unlock it again? Maybe, but I doubt it.

Until I see a person with the acheivement unlocked on their profile, I am sticking with my original assumption.

oh, I guess you didn't get me. For example, Consider T-rex, Mammoth and Sabertooth are ARK's initial specimens(initial means, the creatures which were there when the game started at first). So if we unlocked those 3 creature's dossier, we are eligible for that achievement.

If everything is indeed unlocked then I would suggest posting something in the bugs section. If you don't have the Broodmother Dossier (Suspect as much) you need to go solo it by building a defensible base near an obelisk and solo her using a decent gun and some grenades..

Yeah, I killed broodmother by my own and that's how I got achievement "Veteran Survivor". And yeah, my dossier is fully unlocked. I'll post in bugs section. Thanks. :)

lol the brood mother is a joke, you can kill her with pikes. or a descent lvl rex,spino,bird,bigfoot,trike,stego,anklo maybe even a raptor.

If you kill her with Dinos you don't get the Dossier.
