Is Rockarrot Seed a Rare Item?

I've been collecting for rockarrot seed for half hour now, collected fairly amount of the seeds, but no rockarrot seed... can anyone tell me if that is a rare item? or it's just my bad luck...

PS: I am smashing the brushes... could be my method is wrong?

Steps to get Rock Carrot Seeds
- Find Steggo
- Tame Steggo
- Ride Steggo to bamboo forest or mush patches
- Deforest patches with Steggo tail
- Get all the Rock Carrots seeds
- Rule island

Or a trike, if they could make a stego saddle I doubt they'd be short on seeds.

I used to think trikes where trash tames, then a tribemate got one. Now I'm very pro trike. Decent all around tame and the eggs lead to sarco tames. :)

Any dino capable of getting berries from bushes is capable of getting seeds. And you will get much more farm from a dino rather than doing it by hand.

They serve a purpose. Great for river travel in the low to mid levels, Decent guard animals when harvesting along the coasts and in the water. Moving goods up and down the coast in general (so many bases. Soooo many turrets making coasts no fly zones). And at the end of their lives, decent source of hides.

#1 advantage of Sarco is you can easily tame one at any level since they're slow, and then you have a monster to follow you and keep you safe from the horrors that live in the darkness.

Trikes are great too. I just prefer Steggos for their carry capacity and ability to defeat other dinos if you accidentally smack one in the face.

Tame a trike, by level 30, i think, you can have a trike saddle, afterwards, you will never again worry about seeds and berries, just walk up to the berry bushes with your trike, and press the attack button, it will collect any berries and seeds in the vicinity.

If you are bellow level 30, well you dont really need rockarot anyways, as you arent making any kibble yet, so you can eat berries.
