They are coded not to pick up berries or flint it seems. I'm frankly thankful. One of the most annoying things about farming is having to manually drop thousands of berries while trying to gather wood on a mammoth.
That would be the best case scenario. An auto-sort button on inventory screens would also be helpfully, one click automatically puts everything in order.
I made a suggestion thread awhile ago about mammoths getting an Alt Attack that gathered berries with it's trunk while primary tusk attack gathered wood and thatch only.
Not really. They've demonstrated they already have such a filter on the doed. All they'd have to do is create a GUI for it. It'd function exactly like the doeds do, excluding anything filtered.
Relatedly: I really rather wish each berry had its own distinct looking plant instead of all berries being randomly generated by the same generic one.
i move the wood to my inventory then hit the drop all in mammoth
You quickly reach a point were you can't pull anymore into your own inventory. My wood harvesting mammoth pulls 2,500ish wood a run along with a bunch of thatch and it hasn't finished leveling and was not a perfect tame.
