Best weight carrying dino?
I go around and get a lot of stone for my base but as stone is super heavy I need a dino with high weight stat, what is the best dino for weight, I want to try and avoid the carbonemys, due to its speed and size :)

Argent.

So lots of stuff and is fast? I think it might be parasaur, though Bronto is the best carrier I've heard. As to the Argent, does it actually carry that much?

Argent can travel the fastest and they can start with 500+ weight.

T-rex

easily argent as utility (flies and carry weight of 500 generally), then trex as it barely gets stuck (700?), everything else is too slow/defenceless in comparison.

low level get a trike then upgrade to argent.

Early game Parasaur and then Trike.

also if things move too slow with you ontop (stamina drain) run with them on follow.

Argent or Rex.

We've used mammoths very successfully as pack animals, easily get over 1k weight and they are quite mobile and can defend themselves on those long dedicated mining trips. Bronto's are probably the highest carry weight if you want to dedicate them to that, but they are also very slow and difficult to manage. Argents have great carry capacity and obviously can fly, giving you great mobility and the ability to go far and wide with your mining/farming runs. it just depends on what you want to do. Rex's have some serious carry capacity as well, but dedicated a REX to a pack animal just seems cruel....

I use argents for metal runs, mammoths for wood or stone or whatever I'm mining on foot.

the brontos carry weight starts at about nine hundred i think, awesome for carrying stuff. plus it doesnt get stuck on terrain too easily c;

i always use argents.
kibble tamed a 120 and it started with 600 weight, had more than decent stats on everything else so i threw all the points into weight, currently has some 1200~ weight
and before that, i tamed several low level ones that still had some 400 weight, put points into weight and used ptera with 3-4 argents on follow for running to mountains for stone & metal

Iv only ever used parasaurs, Easy to tame & level And cary alot, I live in an area where i dont have to fly for any materials lucily tho so parasaurs work great. And anything that comes my way othger than an alpha i can kill with my pike usually.

If you are on a coast, Plesi is amazing. Second highest carry capacity and moves extremely fast on water.
