Your computer has some old specs, but it might be able to run it on all low settings. Try out the free weekend and see for yourself.

Your welcome, I would suggest having all the settings as low as possible (execpt resolution, you can keep that at 1080p). Hit the tab button and type stat fps. This will show your fps on the right. Then play around with the settings until you get something you like.

I have
win 10
phenom II x4 955 3.2ghz
r7 250x 2gb = hd 7770 or so
8gb ram

i get mostly 20-30fps but drop to 17ish when close to a big base and some of the caves cna be hell for my pc when like 30 bats are all in 1 corner !

Also will have to use this in launch options

-USEALLAVAILABLECORES -sm4 -d3d10 -nomansky -lowmemory

hopeing dx12 lets me remove the -sm4 junk but i dought it hehe

idk my system's things very well but the game won't run very well. Anything to make it lag less?

I wouldn't bother my PC is about the same as yours the game needs some major work for low end PCs to run it (They really need to stop trying to give it the best possible graphics because thats making it harder to run)
Even with the graphics at lowest setting the game doesn't run like at all, even worse being how painful they are to look at that low and I mean painful as in litterally it will hurt your eyes even low level graphics of an old PlayStation 1 isn't hard to look at compared to ARK at the lowest.

I've bought the game and i really want to play it, so can you think of an estament to releaseing the full game?

They are planning for summer of 2016.

You might be able to run on low with 20-40 fps. The game is atrocious in the way it runs, both in terms of lag and fps. On top of that it is the free weekend so it is even worse.

Thanks guys. Downloaded it for free weekend, deleted it immediately. Didn't run at all really :(

Unfortunately you could probably put everything on low and still get 15-30fps. My system is a bit better than yours and I have a hard time getting around 30 fps on low-medium. All low settings the game looks like a bad N64 game. They need to stop adding so much stuff and just focus on optimization now.
