alright sweet, thanks for letting me know :)
It also has a melee attack that has decent strength (considering its size). Unfortunately, since it only gets xp from the slow progress of time and killing something with a phsyical attack, getting it to the point where it can survive in melee against a low-level dilo is tedious. Annoyingly, something dying from the slight damage-over-time from the poop they throw doesn't give the monkey any xp either.
I hope they fix the shoulder-mounted dinos not getting shared xp (from some testing, it affects the Dimos as well, but since they only have melee and are much more likely to survive against something at the start, it is harder to notice). As it is, I just increase its weight and take advantage of the fact that the inventory of a shoulder-dino is only half-transferred to you. That, and to allow me to get multiple artifacts out of a cave on each trip.
Aside from the practical uses, the new fur pass makes them look absolutely adorable.
