Directory of Fan-Made Dossiers

Hello everyone!

With so many good ideas for creatures to be added to the game, I wanted to compile a list of them in the form of dossiers. Even high-quality picture dossiers tend to fall by the wayside after a while; this will make sure they're all easy to find and enjoy! Don't worry, I'm not going to steal anyone's work. I'll just include them as links to original postings.

Guidelines for dossier inclusion
-Shoot for high school level writing. I won't share it here if it's exceptionally bad.
-Don't spam-suggest your creations.
-Don't steal someone else's work.
-Originality in creature choice and implementation are always a plus!
-Picture or no picture, please follow the established format for Dossiers. (Unless you just want to show off a mysterious Boss creation...)
-Finally, please make sure your creation is either a discussion in one of ARK: Survival Evolved's forums or uploaded to the Artwork section.

Remember to be constructive if you want to critique someone else's work, and if someone thinks you should change something about your own work, don't take it personally! This is how ideas are refined so they can reach their maximum potential.

I just KNOW I missed some, no need to rage - just leave a link to anything not on the list in the comments! And please, if you don't like the way I included your work, let me know so I can fix it! This thing is a work in progress, I'll clean it up as I go.

It would appear that this thread can only support so many picture previews. Please, do not feel slighted if your picture is now just a web link - that link will still take you to the picture!

Working on dossiers for the following extinct Australian creatures:

Obdurodon: Giant platypus

What dimorphodons are for air combat, these carnivorous, venom-injecting platypi could be for coastal battles. A swarm of these with stamina-draining poison would be an (awkward-looking) nightmare. They'd lay eggs, too!

Procoptodon: Goliath kangaroo

Thylacoleo: Marsupial lion

@Tex - The only real issue is that very few of these are really unique. The Procoptodon would be fun though. Maybe in roder to tame you'd need to find a female (Only females would be tameable, let's say the males are aggressive) and knock it out and hop into the pouch? Would be funny as all hell. "Wait where did dis baby come from? Oh well I'll raise it now" I'd love to see someone's reaction to that...XD

Guys how come nobody has suggested the kronosaurus?
I mean its one of the biggest and baddest water creatures of prehistoric times!!
The devs will give us liopleurodon or something, but id much more love to have kronosaurus! it would be the T Rex of the seas!!! Pls devs!!

Also it would be fun if next year on april first the devs troll us and add the smurf for a day! or the dodorex!

@Dahaka - It was not all that larger than Liopleurodon. Lio= 25ft Krono=33ft. It is not big enough of a difference to make it worth it, as well as it being almost the same thing.

As I understand it, Kronosaurus' size has been greatly exaggerated. But that's beside the point. If you have a good idea for Kronosaurus, go ahead and make a dossier for one!

Considering Ark doesn't possess the same exact species as the actual creature, it could be assumed that "This specific subspecies of Short Faced Kangaroo has a pouch for both genders"
