How to use the flashlight?

I've made one, put it on my pistol, but can't figure out how to turn it on, any ideas?

It activates the alternate function on weapon attachments.

It works in 2 ways, have the weapon in hand and double tap reload, or look at the keybind and look at "attachment", mine was set to N.
