I'm on a 4x taming speed server, and my level 4 took 20-30 mins only using berries.
Basically, a bleeding long time.

I just happened to knock out a level 100 Scorpion 10 minutes into my level 32 Doedicurus tame. The Scorpion finished about 5 minutes quicker.
That was with me feeding my Doed a combination of Savroot and Kibble.

I do think it's a little long but given their utility, there needs to be some drawback.

Doedicurus are totally worth it though! :)

They are longer tames than mammoths by a decent margin. 8 min + 5% per lvl off from the bronto to give you an idea.. in other words way too frickin long.

a level 41 took about 4 hours, i think the taming time is smiliar to ankos, granted i used a few kibbles(about 4) and mejo so it could be longer. taming speed was 1x so yeah

I tamed a level 12 last night took 3 hours using savoroot used about 200+ narcotics but thats probably cause I was filling it up so I could do other things and check every so often to fill it again

5x taming speed unofficial server, lvl 68 tamed in 18 minutes and used 7 kibble no narcs

A level 8 is about 3 hours with no kibbles on an official server (no cheats)

A level 4 is over 2 hours taming time. (even with 3 kibbles)

A level 40 is over 4 hours (even with 15 kibbles + 300 citerol)

It's one of the longest tames in the game. As long as a Mammoth.

try lure it out of the predators zone.. is much easier tt way to tame one.. else if u have bronto.. it will be a good bodyguard :)
