I wasn't asking for ourselves though, i know they're not the best food for our character. I was asking if our herbivore pets would feed on seeds if seeds were the only thing inside of a feeding through.
The reason i asked is because berries spoil , seeds don't . So if we put seeds in our feeding throughs then the amount will only go down when the dinos eat them. Not by spoiling .
SO that allows us to keep our dinos fed for long periods of time without having to worry about the seeds spoiling and the feeding through getting empty every day.
Thanks for your answer .
Now i have to ask the devs why . Because animals do eat seeds in the wild so the only possible reason why the devs would make it so we can't use seeds in a feeding through is that they want us to go through the trouble of harvesting berries and filling up our feeding throughs regularly .
I don't see this as being a good enough reason.
Consider the size of the creatures in ARK. Now consider exactly how many seeds said creature must consume in order to meet its caloric intake. There are not enough seeds on the island to feed a Stego. Thats why seeds are not a food source in ARK: It just doesn't make sense.
Ok , i'll go with that . :D
Makes sense , and i like things that make sense .
Thanks .
