Keeping your dinos when joining another tribe?
So, I'm quite sure that you can't take some dinos and move them to another tribe. But if you're the only one in your tribe, and make the dinos personally owned and personally ridden, could you join another tribe and would they still be kept? Would really like to join one of my friends tribes, but I would rather not lose all my dinos. Considering that I've got two Brontos, a rex, a spino and a lot more dinos.

Not sure about that. What I did was just unclaim them, and have your friend claim them before you join. Then they will be in his tribe and you can switch over.

How would he claim them?

He faces the dino and then he has to press "E"

What Roger said. All he has to do is hit E on them and claim them. Quick and simple ;)

What personally own means is if you leave a tribe, the dinos stick with you. Tribe own means the dinos stay with the tribe

One of the problems a lot of people face is when they jump in another tribe to help them out. Most tribes tend to do a tribe own, and this means the dinos that followed are now stuck in the tribe that the person helped out.
This is why I and many others keep asking for some allied thing.

BTW, if you're the only one in the tribe. The tribe goes away when you leave it (I wish they had a merge your tribe option so you don't have to worry about things like this and so you can merge a entire tribe into another)

To be save unclaim your dinos first. I was the last one in the tribe and the owner, but through a bug all the stuff went to a tribe we didn´t know about. Happened a few days ago.

This is why I still don't Tribe. To many variables and bugs in place to rob you of your stuff if you leave a Tribe or someone is part of the Tribe and decides to screw people over.

If your the last one in your tribe, merge tribes. All assets dino and buildings will switch over to new tribe besides personally owned which will still have your name on them.

When you want to leave the other tribe, unclaim them ,leave, then claim them again.I bring neighbors into tribe for a day to share xp etc and then they go solo again at end of day

Just the three of us on the server. It's a private one. I wanted to go on my own for a bit but now I don't.
