Buffing it isnt hard, especially cause they get ungodly amounts of health per level, and are pretty fast compared to Anky.

Im putting it into weight but you barely get any for the point. though i didnt want to tame a real high lvl one yet. 46 has ♥♥♥♥ for inventory weight

Actually I do think that the low weight is a good counter-balance to the sheer amount of stone these things can farm. Their stamina drain rate is pretty low and they are also fast compared to the Anky.

What I usually do is I just grab my Argent which I've been buffing to be a fast carrier and just ferry as much stone as I can load up from my 3 doeds. Its gotten me more stone than I've ever gotten before in such a short time.

It is pretty much inline with everything else. Basically identical to the Ankylo. Bring other dinos along to carry the load back.

Sadly all dinos have very minor weight gain when upgraded. Compared to some other stats like HP, the weight should be higher when upgraded.

But it really gathers stone well and its pretty fast (and also very fast in the water)

Why does no one use freighter creatures? Seriously my tribe has stegos for eggs and a few mammoths, when we go to our quarry (the blue obelisk) we bring them all and leave with thousands and thousands of stone. Or we bring a ton of wood and thatch and build a ton of stone walls ceilings foundations etc to patch our base after raids and reinforce areas. Why does the doed need to be a stone gatherer AND a frieghter?

Agreed i have a trex with high weight on follow

Mostly because their speeds are atrocious..

Get its weight to at least 500 then put the rest into whatever you want.

The problem here is wanting to make the poor thing carry everything and in vast amounts. We have mule dinos for a reason, use them. Even parasaurs make great pack mules. I roam Dead Island's small rock formations with 3 brontos and the doed, and sometimes when I'm really up to it I tag along 2 trikes, 2 parasaurs and a mammoth. Needless to say, the amount of stones I can hoard up before having to return is immense. The 3 brontos alone hold a total of 3450 weight before becoming encumbered. The rest of the crew holds an additional 3000.

Also, it's also worth noting that anything can carry 2x as much as its weight limit. If you have, say, your doed at 400 weight, when you are almost encumbered, find a good patch of rocks you can break without having to move to fully utilize its max limit.

My issue with this dino is the unable to attack under or on water, i cannot defend it or break rocks while its swimming seems limited..

Every other dino including the ankylosaurs can attack and fight in water, why is this one excluded?

Its fine as it is. Sure more weight would be nice, but it'd be frankly too OP if it was.

Its not Its sitting with my 5 1500 weight Mammoths hitting f 60000000000000 times cause the DIno fills up after 3 swings.

In a game where I can wreck your stone base in Secs is it really 2 op?

They are slower than a Anky and they only get about 12 points of weight per point.

But they can gather in autonomous mode meaning they dont have to deal with additional weight from rider. Tho if rider weights less than half of Doed's weight limit then its more efficient to ride.
