My ultimate Dino wish-list:
I know that the developpers said their goal was 70 species, and with only 1 left needing to be confirmed, that is coming to a close. But, I've been one to believe that in all the biomes that will be added, there should be an equivilent roled dino. Not necesarily too similar or even of the same group of animals. So here is my wish-list of creatures that I hope will be added to the game. If they aren't, I could probably mod them in with enough effort.... I will explain why each of them deserves a shot at being in the game. P.S don't try to read the entire thing. Just read the dino's name and check out the ones that seem interesting. I do not want to be held responsible for death by brain melting and oozing out the ears...XD

-Guanlong/Dilong: There are many people out there who love chinese culture for various reasons. I, however, don't give a care in the world about their traditions, culture or history... I care about their prehistory. They've ahd some of the most amazing species discovered within their borders, and my Favorites have always been Dilong, Guanlong and Microraptor. But since Microraptor is confirmed, no real poitn in mentioning it. I'd lean more towards Dilong, since it was rather interesting. Like Gualong, they are some of the first Tyrannosaurids to have evolved. However, since Dilong has confirmed feather evidence and does not have a Crest that is too similar to the Dilos, I'm personally preferring the idea of Dilong. It was smaller, sure. But it could fill in the role of Dilos in jungle, while the Dilos would all live on the coast pestering fresh spawns. However, Gualong could work as a Raptor equivilent of the Jungle maybe...?

-Tapajara: Possibly the most rediculous looking Arcosaur next to Xi Qi, this Pterosaur is small, but has a ridiculous Head Crest. Seriously, for those who don't know about Tapajara, search it up. I imagine they would live in collonies along the high cliffs along the coast and on the peaks of mountains. They would have amazing Eggs that would give a Kibble that would be highly usefull in taming most rare beasts that inhabit the Ark, but they would be un-tameable. So you would need to try and raid eggs in the mass colony. No only does the risk of falling to your death pose a challenge, but getting swarmed by doezens apon doezens of Tapajara would be truly hilarious to watch. They would probably go hutning for corpes most of the time, though, due to individualy being small.

-Megalania: This guy has been requested by many, and I wouldn't be suprised if it is the next Creatures to be revealed. However, I'd hope that it would be very destinguishable from the Fossil Evidence of the massive veranid. I'd imagine them with patterns unlike a Komodo Dragon, but more like a Parentei or a Argentine Black n' White Tegu, and having Iguana-like spines all along the back, tail, neck and under the throat. It's veome (It is known that Megalania where the largest evnemous animal) would be unlike that of all the other inhabitants of the Ark. It would only raise Topor slightly. Howver, it would do insane damage to HP and Stamina. It's venome would be harvestable for use in Poison Arrows and possibly even Posioned Food to feed to captive players in PvP siuations...? I imagine also that it would be larger than all of the specualted sizes at around 30ft in length. It would also be able to swim, due to having ageneric shape of a Monitor, who can all swim. And I imagine that it would live in a Swamp Biome due to being slwo on land and thereofre it would have a larger advantage against normally fast prey that would get stuck in the mud. I imagine, to fully fill in the role as a PvP tank that's role is to deal with Rex's and Spinos, it would be quite heafty and be very durable. So it would out-last the rex/spino, due to the tpxin doing heavy damage o Health and Stamina. It would not be suited against on-foot players, btu rather large, slow mounts.

-Protoceratops: In a very brief statement, it would be the Phiomia of the Desert Biome, only it would fight back. Not very well against powerful Dinos/ Heavy weaponry, but would be quite an easy source of meat in the unforgiving desert.

-Edmontosaurus: It could fill in the role of a big steak in a swamp biome. They where massive, getting up to 39ft. The parasaurolophus in Ark is but a midget by compairison. They would be slower, but far tankier and would fight back untill they feel out-matched and flee, unlieke the parasaur who hits once or twice and dips.

-Troodon: WHY THE HECK have they not revealed the Dinosaur with the largest Brain-to-body ratio (Not necesarily the smartest. Brain-to-body ratio is just a simple way to determin how important the brain of an animal is to it's survival. Orcas have bigger brains yet are dumber than humans soooo.....)?! I've always loved the thing. It could fill in a role as a Dino version of the mesopithecus that can also fight, thoug not all that well. What I mean by this is being ordered to open doors (Not from the inside since you wouldn't be able to throw them) or loot un-locked chests. It would probably be a Night spawn only and live in the snow biome and they would de-spawn if they have no taming progress when daybreak arrives. It would be fluffy and kawaii and Slightly longer than an Ark Dilo but much taller. I also imagine, due to their hightened intellect, they do NOT attack players on sight. They are tamed with passive taming, that would require a certain level, though not nearly as high as the Gigantopithecus. But it would be a little more complicated. I imagine that you would lure them close by dropping a Silica Pearls (I imagine that by this point that dropped items will have on-ground meshes), due to it being something they would nto likely run into in their ecosystem and becoming curious. You would than feed them your meat of choice.

-Postosuchus: It could be the Raptor of the Desert, and would be incredibly fast but have rather low stamina. It is known that Postosuchus where fast, but due to being cold-blooded they would probably have very-little energy reserves. They would be useful in getting across a flat area real fast, but not for long distance. I also imagine they would be generally have mroe health.

-Xiphactinus: It would be an equivilent of a Barricuda in the seas. Only larger. Much larger. They would be far less powerful than a Megalodon or a Liopleurodon, but they would hunt in small packs and be very, very fast. Sligtly past the speed of itchyosaurs. Though, they would have a far wider turn distance than an Itchyo, giving them a chance toe escape. It has always been one of the more memorable of the marine aniamls in my opinion. After all, Hesperonis is being added, why not it's mortal ennemy...?

-Alvarezsaurus: It has always been one of the weirder ones, but here me out. I've got a plan on how they could be super useful in PvP. To small to be mounts and not able to carry much weight, this is the role I have in mind for them: theyw ould specialise in damagin Wood and Stone Structures! It would take them quite a while to detsroy a stone wall, but I imagine that they would hit the wall very, very fast at a high rate. They would over all do less damage than let's say a Deodicerus, but would do the damage at such a high attack speed that they could effectively demolish tough structures. They would have very high stamina to do this. However, so they are balanced. they will not attack enemy dinos and will run away from conflict, tamed or not. This would be to make sure they don't murder everything by hitting them hundreds of times per minute and with melle damage investment being op. They would just run away, not very fast at that. They would live in the desert biome.

These are the creatures I'm putting down rn. I have others, but I'm typing waaay to much.

God tier necro that was, Mhm. One word that added absolutely nothing of value to the topic.

Best of all, not only had I forgotten that I ever made this topic, but I see that several have come to pass...
