However, I don't really think using Carcharodontosaurus itself is all that great, considering how similar it is to Giganotosaurus (Hell, ARK's Giga looks more like a Carchar than an actual Giga).
It would just feel like too much of a reskin of a t-rex carno to me.....
The carnivours are rather limited in terms of what they can do in comparison to herbivours, honestly. Something that could gather more meat would be rather pointless, if only because it is already really easy to do so in large quantities.
@Painy Yeah, meat's pretty easy to gather, but I wanted its ability to tie in with its unique feature (jagged teeth), so that's partly the reason. Plus it'll go great with the industrial cooker!
@Red River Is it now..? My eyes suck.. :c
@DinoBear Haha, yeah, they're both very similar dinosaurs, one of the main differences is the Carcharodontosaurus' teeth, which is why I made it a meat gatherer, I also didn't want to do a dino that would be added anytime soon, so Carchar fit the bill perfectly for me.
@Parade Ah, good point, I made it a meat gatherer mostly because of its unique teeth, but yeah, meat's pretty easy to get already. I was thinking that since it was a good meat gatherer, it would be more efficient to gather prime meat too, but we already have alphas for that, don't we, haha. :)
Thanks for the feedback everyone! :)
"making smaller prey - such as humans, much more viable as prey"
should be:
"making smaller targets - such as humans, much more viable as prey"
you should not use the same word twice in short succession.
His bite was also stronger than that one of the spino.
Other than that, great dossier!!!!
