Armadillo (Doedicurus) Taming tips
Heya all,

I found myself a low level armadillo to practice its taming process.
In order to find out what it likes, I put 50 units of the following: Mejoberries, Citronal, Longrass, Rockarrot and Savaroot. Unfortunately I did not have kibble to test it on.

This is what it took in order from most favorite to least:
1) Citronal
2) Longrass
3)Rockarrot
4) Savaroot
5) Mejoberries

Hope this helps, if you got any other input, please feel free to post it.

actually with one of the patches, they changed it so it eats the least favorite food in their inventory first..
The patch changed it so when a dino is being trained it eats it's favorite food first. Otherwise training with kibble would be a problem unless you had enough kibble for the entire tame.

I am taming with kibble now they are the similar to ankylo, lvl 24 doedi took 25 dilo kibble. just be aware it takes more narcos as the torpor on this one drops at a rate of 1.0-1.4

How much narc ?

heya, a friend from the pvp server i play in just tried this method, and it worked for him too.
Noticed a *lot* of folks are in game chatting about how to tame the armadillo, talking about the different kinds of fruits it takes in regards to its level.. what not.

Well, check the OP - this is how its done!

:)

from what I understand crops like citronals don't make it tame faster, but they might give you more bonus levels.

don't they need the food to drop by 50 instead of 30? so it would tame just as slow but it would eat fewer times which means more taming effectiveness.
