I just did some testing and they are eating Rockarrot over all other food types with exception to kibble.

I know what you are talking about, used to be the straight berries did more overall on Herbivores, with Carnivores only gaining half as much. But I tested it recently and Narco berries do the same amount on both types, and Narcotics do the same amount as the 5 Narco that are used to make it.

So Ark Wiki says they prefer Dilo Kibble->Citrinol-->Mejo Berries. I see somone replied they saw one prefer Azulberries and another Rockarrot. People on my Official server are swearing by Savoroot.
So WTF is the actual food besides Kibble that is best used/preferred? With all the differing responses I guess I will just say I think they prefer Prime Meat and I might be as correct as these others?
I mean I would dump every type of veggie/berry into one to see for myself if I could find one to even attempt to tame on my server so far.

They take the first high-tier veggie (potato, carrot, etc) in their inventory. Tested this with some of all of them in it, and it always eats from the top/leftmost stack, no matter which it was. So the order is Kibble > Grown veggies (any) > Mejo > Other berries.

Haven't tested but I was told it was Kibble > Rockarrot or Citronal > Mejo > Everything else.

Wonder if this is applicable to every Herbivore? I did see that when you look at the Veggie info in Wiki it does identify Bronto, Anklo and Stego as accepting specific veggies also which I have never seen until today. Everyone and thing had always said Mejo was the standard besides Kibble.
So do the veggies actually cut tame time also like Kibble does..so veggie faster than Mejo also?

Most of us use narcotics to keep dinos unconscious since they don't spoil and crafting them gives good XP. Narcotics are fine. I assume you are talking about keeping them unconscious since narc berries do not provide nutrition to the dinos.

I use Narco Berries on everything almost all the time to save Narcotics for when NarcB's are not available. I mean really I just use a Mammoth to gather Narcoberries while taming something. Why waste Narcotics if berries are readily available? Although Wiki still seems to contradict itself in saying whether NarcBerries decrease TE or not..

Because Narcotics don't expire. And because berries are way heavier to carry around. I have 500 narcotic on my dino for random tames. That's the equivalent of 2500 berries. Let me see you hull that around and tame 5 dino's all at the same time. And finally because I don't have to go farm naro berries every day/time I want to tame stuff as I've got the Narcotic already in stock at my base in a safe ready to be used to tame or turned into tranq arrows.

Feeding Narcotic and/or Narcoberries does not reduce TE.

Making narcotics gives 2 xp each, so not a bad idea to make them. Personally I am swimming in spoiled meat so might as well make narcotics whenever I get the berries.
