Megaloceros questions...

I finally got around to taming me a decent level megaloceros. Wanted a fem but they's rare as they get. That's not the point...nor question. See it says it has a "charging" attack that causes "bleeding" but I play pve and haven't noticed any special attack. Sure you can run/dodge and attack but you can do that with any tamed critter that you can ride. Is there something special to its attack that req like running up and swiping to cause bleeding or is it bleeding even if you're standing still?

Is it good at something...or better at something then the other tameable critters? It can't harvest its own food which kinda sucks however it does seem to do fairly well in combat. Better than the dang Dire Wolves that are...only good in packs.

Tell you this, I learned the hard way, build a house AROUND the megaloceros while taming it. foundations all around it, roof haning over it and a few fire pits inside to keep you tosty and the megaloceros safe. Almost lost my 112 to a stupid raptor like half way through the tame until I thought about throwing up a house around it.

Anyone found anything "special" about the deer like, does more damage if...?

I heard it collects thatch really well but have not confirmed first hand.
