No Direwolf Saddle?

I cant find the direwolf saddle in my engram list. I have looked through every single engram i can find and there is none for the direwolf. I dont know, maybe i missed it, maybe i didnt. Someone please let me know whereabouts its located so i can check again? Will keep looking in the meantime!

you don't need a saddle, much like the giant ape doesn't need one either.

Just like the giganto. Once it's tamed just press E on it. No saddle required

But they really need to implement armor items for the Saddle slot on dinos that don't have saddles though, such as the Dimorphodon. Or make optional saddles for ridables like the Direwolf.

You can have a badass saddle giving extra Armor to your Sabertooth, but not your Direwolf.

Animals that do not have saddles have much higher natrual armor. Ever notice how tanky a Dilo can be with high HP, vs raptor with the same HP and no saddle?

I do find it kinda cool that you can put a helmet on a Gigo though.

Unfortunately this means that it doesn't get the benefit of the armor that saddles give.
