Chitin and karitan

i am making cementing paste and was wondering if i should use my rex my saber or my raptor. witch of these collect the most chitin and karitan.

Sabercat and Sarco act like a hatchet when they attack corpses, they get lots of hide, chitin, keratin but less meat. Raptors are like using [your fists], they don't favor one or the other, it is evenly distributed damage. Rex, Spino, Carno, etc are like pickaxes on corpses, they get loads of meat and little hide/chitin/keratin. So.... Use your saber.

what i tend to do is get an animal that can go in water (doesnt have to go deep) and land with high damage and with a good turning circle then go hunt trilobites and you can get all the chitin you'll need as well as pearls and oil. That said if you just want a big chitin hit i'd reccommend to take a tribe mate with you and go hit up a cave and hunt scorpions and spiders then hatvest them with an axe (again higher damage the better) or take a saber in with you and you'll have chitin for days.

Pike or spear on a dead body results in more Prime meat. So i wouldnt go as far as comparing raptor to one.

Rex would be better can kill allot of ants in 1 bite i usaly get 25-30+ a pack

Saber with 1500 atk gets between 20 and 40 chitin per scorpion.

This is likely due to the pike's base damage being higher than the pickaxe. Raptors I guess are like harvesting with your fist then, lol.

where dose a carno fit into this is it like the raptor or the rex.
