Let us snap foundation to fence foundation please
For the love of everything that is pizza please let us snap foundations to fence foundations. I'm trying to build a double behemoth door area to double as a taming area, however trying to line up a 7 foundation wide area to fences is impossible manually. See these pictures ; ;

The first one is of the same thing but only a small dino gate.

The second one is where I wanna build the behemoth gate one but I can't get it straight ; ;

do it the other way around? Place the foundations snap the fences to the foundations (works, didn't know that till recently) then snap on the gate.

I already built a fence around my entire complex, hundreds of fences. Took me awhile to get it as straight as I could with my base.

ah ok, that slightly changes things, I'd rather just be able to snap behemoth gates to my ceilings (I don't use foundations).

Also I want giant gates to be able to snap to foundation because my walls need ramparts that I can sit on top of holding a rifle.

The snapping system needs a lot of expansion.

Think I'll just be leaving a hole in the wall for awhile and hoping they add snapping for that situation.

@Niverive: Worry not for there is a way to line up foundations with fence foundations but it involves a bit of a workaround. Pillars snap one square out from a fence foundation and can be used to snap a foundation. Play around with this for a bit and you'll get it sorted. May take a while (especially if on a slope) but it can be done.

Hope this helps.

Hmm I was able to snap a pillar to a fence foundation but its saying the foundation is obstructed anywhere near the pillar, I see it tries to place basically underground near the pillar. :<

If that's the case, place another pillar on top of the first as your foundation is likely being obstructed by the landscape. Bear in mind that this will raise it up slightly though.
