Two paracers = weight of one bronto
Paracer outdoes bronto in both speed and stamina.
Use a nice rex or spino to make up for their bad combat skills and you have basically made brontos useless except for a moving fortress/target.
Its for taming. If you hit a carno, it isnt going to run away, its going to fight back.
Just pump up the health of 3 Pachys and go knock em out.
Also, the head butt is pretty fast and can be used to short sprint.
When i put 170% speed into anything but a 4 legged plant eater, I expect some sort of return on that investment beyond "just slightly almost raptor speed."
I get that the headbutt is an ability on its own, but it should still be able to run well.
I have no problem doing just that.
Headbutt charge the back end of the target at an angle, you will hit them and can keep going.
Then turn around and repeat.
But,most of the time I just tank it.
I haven't had one pachy die yet who just stood there and fought. head to head.
But then again, I'm not crazy enough to take on a rex.
The pachy is just fine where it is.
It is an easy tame that makes it easy to tame other mid to low level dinos.
Anything more would make it unbalanced and VERY unrealistic.
That said, I think we should be able to whistle for our unridden pachys to charge.
I think 6 Pachys charging a rex would be effective.
