[SOLVED] ARKON is NOT DEAD
Starting 22 sep 15 with update/patch 214 or 214.1 (I think) Arkon is not functioning anymore.
The message I get is:
[18:04:54] Client up to date.
[18:06:56] Connecting...
[18:06:56] Connection rejected, check your password.[18:06:56] Disconnected
All settings (Arkon and Server) are the same as before. So it has something to do with the updates. Anyone knows a solution? I need Arkon.

I still use Arkon ( its a remote access to admin/monitor dedicated servers )

it is still working for me, it goes thru the update check, i connect, and can view chat and everything as normal.

Try redownloading/reinstalling it.

Incredible. I did de-install it, restarted the PC, downloaded the Arkon.zip fresh again, installed it, it updated, I put in the settings correctly, double checked, restarted my Server, all looks good. Connect and boom:
[21:50:42] Connecting...
[21:50:42] Connection rejected, check your password.[21:50:42] Disconnected
I really don't get it. Used it for a month, worked flawless. No one has issues?

I don't mean to condescend, but you are putting in the right password, right? Maybe the RCON password or other settings got changed on your server.

Mine works like a champ. But, Arkon is now integrated into Ark Server Launcher too(made by the same guy). You can try googling that and download it to see if it works for you.

Works flawlessly here mate!! Please check that rcon port or password has not changed!!
I don't see what else could be wrong! i really hope you get it to work .. I'm so depending on it myself lol

Woww guys, thanx for all the comments. And Yep Sgt., it was the rcon-port.
I managed to sniff out the server (with some proggie from internet) and discovered that my rcon-port 27020 was gone, but another port was open, 27025.
So I changed the settings in Arkon and it worked with this port. My provider doesn't provide support for RCON, so I had to figure it out myself. Thank god I can use this great proggie again.

Well, it worked once. Now both ports don't work anymore. Has anyone Arkon still working on a i3D hosted server? I think it has to do something with the i3D.net hosting provider.

It sounds like you should open up a ticket with the host. You may need to request they open that port for you. Maybe some admin happened to see that port open and did not know what it was for so he closed it. Unless you have the access to go open the port yourself. But that sounds like your problem if it worked for a little while after you changed ports.

I'm having no issues with Arkon either. Double check your ports and firewall rules.

Oh, I have a ticket, 4 pages long. Host says all ports are open. Has even put it in the console oversite that Admin Port=27020. I have checked all settings 24x. In Server config and startline, and in ARKon. IP, port and password are all the same.

My startup line: TheIsland?Port=7779?QueryPort=27015?MultiHome=31.204.132.4?ServerAdminPassword=xxxxxxx?RCONEnabled=True?RCONPort=27020?MaxPlayers=20?listen? -nosteamclient -game -server -log

[ServerSettings] That's in GameUserSettings.ini
ServerAdminPassword=xxxxxxx
RCONEnabled=True
RCONPort=27020

And ARKon says:
[16:05:30] Client up to date.
[16:05:34] Connecting...
[16:05:34] Connection rejected, check your password.[16:05:34] Disconnected

It's getting to me. Start feeling really down now. My password is only 7 characters. Should this be more?
