giving a few engram points in singleplayer?
Is it possible to give myself some extra engram points in singleplayer using admincheat?
As I want to try out new things, and don't want to start over, and I don't want to give ALL the engrams .. I just want to add a few points ... I don't want to respec using the brew tho....
Does anyone know a command to give some extra engrampoints?
Admincheats giveengrampoints 100 1 1 or something.... ?????

You can do that through server configuration (singleplayer uses the same config values as well). You can change max XP, XP required per level, the amount of levels there are, engram points earned per level and the engram cost of each engram. Plenty of options to choose from. Search the server hosting forum stickies for details.

I know I can change that in the config .. but it won't help me in an already started game, where I am level 80 ....

personally i use the ark server manager and copy/paste all the changes i want to my hosted server.. works a treat.

and it won't interfere with an game that is been played for a long time?

Yes.. but single player still works somewhat differently.. thanks though.
Might be the same config but I haven't been able to figure out how to make it work on an already existing and saved game.

Cheat yourself mindwipe tonic and reskill. Give yourself all engrams. Or just cheat the blueprint for the item.

giveitemnum 413 1 1 false

or just

giveengrams

or

giveitemnum <x> <x> true

for blueprint.

Rewriting the .ini rquires you to rewrite it for every single level without a typo twice, once for exp once for engram points. I wouldnt even try it. There are several working .ini`s ou there o download of you want to do that.

Edit: There are how-tos for editing singleplayer, you act as your own server and the files are the same, just different directories.

Yeah .. I know I can cheat in the mindwipe to respec .. I didn't wanted that .. but if there is no command to i.e give me the missing 72 points I need, I prob have to do that....

but .. off course .. if the blueprints for elevators are already in, and if I can get them in an drop i rather wait and search ....

The new blueprints are not in the drops. They staed somewhere that the drops need a rewrite to include that. Plus the new items from last patch dont have an entity ID yet and are not cheatable via ID, only via blueprint command like this

giveitem "Blueprint'/Game/Mods/SedativeAmmo/PrimalItemAmmo_SedativeSniperRifleBullet.PrimalItemAmmo_SedativeSniperRifleBullet'" 50 1 false

only if you have that mod installed ofc. I dont know the commands for the new items though, i just used windwipe. If you dont want to cheat just cook i legit and you keep your feeling of achievement.

You can do so anytime. The server/singleplayer will adapt to the new values. You won't lose any levels. You may even gain a few. And you gain all the engram points that should have been unspent according to the server rules. If you raise engram costs your engram points can even turn negative.

Note: Just to be sure, make a backup of you stuff before you hack around in the configs.

If you do giveengrams you are able to craft everything but when you die you will then not be able to craft anything so you have to do the command again also you open the command thing by pressing TAB
