Accurate ballista damage on walls/dinos
Now after patch I tested it:

It takes a total of 8 arrows with direct hit to kill a stone wall
It takes a total of 12 arrows with direct hit to kill a stone foundation and about the same with ceilings
Ballista cant harm metal foundations so im guessing it cant harm anything that is made of metal

It takes a total of 34 arrows to kill a alpha t-rex with 14400 health (level 10) so it would take 68 to take out a tamed t rex in level 160-180 if you only went for health and damage

It does 480 damage per hit on a t rex with no saddle
It does 240 damage to be accuate on a t rex with a saddle

Im not sure but I still think it ruins primitive a bit by only taking 8 arrows on a wall but the dino damage is great

@Edit
As for range, 16 foundations long is fairly medium to hit. If you doubled that up to 32 it would be extremely much harder to hit if you had a 3 wall high buildning, now if you had a 6 wall high buildning you'd need the ballista to be 64 foundations in range away before it would be fairly hard to hit you

About the same power as C4 vs metal then. Although for primitive Id nerf it a bit more to keep it on the "primitive" side of things.

Primitive has been without much in the way of raiding danger for a while.

I figured how far away it would need to be from your base before it gets fairly hard for the user to hit you so there ya go. The higher your buildning is the further away the guy with the ballista can stand but theres always a render distance limit :-)

It cost freakin 600 metal to make, its OP to single players XD. Tribes however will be fine.

Are you kidding me? 600 metal is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ easy to get.

Go up to the mountain or volcano grab a hundred at a time if you have no mount or take something that can carry some and get like 200 a time.

They need to nerf the ability to pick up the bolts after being fired.

Otherwise you can stand there fireing a bolt having someone pick it up and fireing it again with a grand total cost of 0 ammunition wise +- the ones you cant pick up.

Did you miss the Single Player there? thats 1200 raw metal. at best a player can only carry 200, maybe 300 depending on stats and how risky you want to be. Bird makes easier, but for one guy it is still a several hour proposition. For ONE of the materials. Of several needed.
