Eggs clipping through ceiling
Hello, this issue has been present for a very long time now. Every egg dinos hatch clips through ceiling and later become unable to be picked. This seems like a minor issue, but will we ever see a fix? It's incredibly frustrating.

Thanks,
D.

When building an egg farm, seems best to have them on a ramp that rolls the eggs to the ground.

I assume your is on a second for so for your issue:
Sometimes if you stand over the egg and look straight up, you can pick it up. I think it shows the graphic on the ground when its actually above you stuck in the floor.

But it does need to be fixed, probably same bug that causes our bodies to sink thru floors when off-line, that can eventually kill us by falling underground if off-line long enough.

Or vice versa - the egg is floating in midair unpickable while it is actually on the ground. Getting out of the area and returning to re-render things helps sometimes.

1. Fly out of the area , as long as no one else is in the area, then fly back. The egg sometime resets. I do this up to 2 attempts and usually get egg at least 1/2 the time.

2. Building in posts/piers instead of regular foundations permits you to crawl under and get eggs. When they fall through they go through to the foundation from what I understand.

Ramps and roofs aren't that secure either I'm afraid. :(

The whole idea for using ramps (or ceilings on pillars) is you being able crawl underneath them to get eggs that fell through.

*Sighs* Back to the drawing board then.

I read somewhere a while back that the Ark world is composed of layers and it is best to build a egg farm on the lowest layer (e.g. ground floor, beaches, etc.). But, that could be wrong as the eggs clip through the ground but we don't realize it. Then again, maybe it's best not to know than to know and not be able to pick them up. Anywho, I agree! Eggs clipping through solid structures and/or being bugged (unpickable) is a small issue (~1% of eggs for me) and I would also like it see it resolved.

Did they ever confirm that they're working on a fix?

By the way, if feces can stay on the ceiling, so should eggs, to be honest.

Both feces and eggs are composable and different sizes. They're basically the same thing with different design and functions, lol.

Or maybe spawn eggs on the same level as feces. (Unless that is what is aleardy happening in which vase I can't explain what happens.)

This and I've seen eggs "bounce" quite a ways. I've walked in to find a parasaur egg floating up by the egg-layers head, non interactive. And I've found Rex eggs clear across my base from where the female was. I've even found them laying right by their feet but unable to interact with it.

Not yet, but a couple of the posts are being kept alive, in hopes that they are up on the screen when the bug finding/fixing Devs are looking at that forum.
