lv 44 Alpha Carno

I have a lv 79 rex with 800 attack damage and 5,241 health.
Is that enough to take one down (including the fact I have my rex saddled (so faster attack) and knock back) could I kill it without getting touched.

a level 79 rex can definitely take care of an alpha carno esp one that low lvl, dont listen to the other people in this thread, hell i kill alpha carnos with my raptor ffs

Just make sure you have an out if things dont go your way

wouldn't try it if you cherish your rex. Could be possible that you succeed, but i would say your rex dies and you die

Alot of it depends where you are playing and server settings. Official servers ted to lag a lot, making killing things easier because you don't get hit much.

Private servers may have different stats.

On my server, an alpha raptor would be to much for your Rex. You need a lot more health.

You will probably die. Tame a spino. They are the ultimate Alpha killers because of insane knockback. I think the Carno will be fast enough to get in and deal some serious damage. If you use a spino your guy wouldn't even take damage.

It's possible your Rex wins. Could be a pretty even battle.

FYI: I killed a level 92 Rex with a 108 Spino. Rex only managed to get in a few hits because the Spino attacks fast and knockbacks 99% of the time the Rex was unable to actually get in close enough for a bite. You can try this out with regular rex's before going in to a battle against one of course.

you rex sounds like what an alpha raptor has in stats. You need way more health, maybe tame some doedis for support, they can tank and wont die and you do the damage

Well it's kind of risky! If you do it right you probably will not have any problem, but watch out for your trex that don't get stuck or attacked from behind!
