Raft camera

Was wondering if there is any way to zoom the camera back any further, and continue to steer, the raft other than the two options via the scroll wheel? I have my raft built up and it's kinda hard to see over it unless I do the scinematic camera at which point I loose stearing.

This is indeed the worst vehicle camera I've ever seen in a game, both first and third person are blocked by that giant sail and you can't zoom out enough to see around it. That sail needs to be changed anyway to the traditional sideways triangle sail which makes more sense for a raft moving in all directions, flat square sails can only move in 1 direction.

The sail blocks does a great job at blocking your view. I think yeah you need to be able to zoom out further with the raft.

first time I've had a suggestion for this game, is there a way to formaly submit it or just hope the dev's read this?

This is why I have resorted to using the 3d orbit cam by hitting "K", you can still go forward in it, but nothing else, so it's good for cruising when you already have a course and are heading forward only, otherwise you have to go back to third person to maneuver (steer).

So either allow the third person to scroll back farther, or let us steer in 3d orbit cam.

either way, let us go backwards on the rafts too.

I use the K cam too, even though mine is all glitched out for some reason and turns everything blue/black and transparent, and it just gets irritating trying to steer and constantly flipping in and out of K cam.
