Foundations and nature regen?
So I was wondering, would it be possible, or even a good idea for foundations/fences and such to have an option where you can allow wood/stone/bush regeneration (notice I did not include metal in there)?
I ask this because I had to expand my base and I could only do so up onto a cliff, and I really hate destroying half a forest just because I need to house more dinosaurs, and they way I see it, it would do no harm.

With metal, because it's limited, I understand how this could be abused by big tribes, but I don't think it would bring any disgusting advantage to anyone when used for wood/stone/bushes.

Thoughts?

I think this is an option somewhere in one of the ini files. Saw a video on youtube where they had a tree grow through a behemoth gate even though they had foundations under the gate.

I do mean for the official servers Rez, as I prefer a large community over a safe/modded one, personally.

Also, I do mean an option on the fence/foundation to block or allow, as clearly I would not want trees growing in my house, but wouldn't mind them growing in and around my large, back-yard dino penn.

Do you mean an ingame option in the radial menu of a structure to altar it's ability to "keep wild growth" at bay? Seems like a big ask. The server would have to track data for every individual foundation/pillar/fence foundation on the server. Doesn't seem to me, with my limited coding experience, like it would be a viable thing.

It would be nice to be able to set the respawn distance from foundations on Officials would certainly help with the servers suffering from foundation spamming and abandoned buildings everywhere.

It is a server setting, but an in game all foundations respawn radius=# would be nice, an option that appears in the radial menu of any foundation that shares the changes with all foundations.

Re-Fertilizer is a craftable material in Ark: Survival Evolved. It can re-grow plants, trees, and even rocks that have been harvested previously. (wiki)
