2)I'm in game at the moment but there should be a setting onthe Setup portion that says shows player position on map
3)Once you have a GPS made it'll help with this, otherwise it's gestimating
4) No. The map is virtually useless except for once you know where the obelisks are then you'll know what the mountains and rivers represent.
1) How about on a normal dedicated server, can we be able to see everyone in the tribe's names at all time that way?
2) I will take a look again tonight.
3) A GPS? man, we are only level 6 and have died a ton and spent most of our time lost and trying to find each other lol. It'll be a long time before we can make that I'm sure.
4) So basically once we've uncovered most of the map already? :)
Also what about what I was saying with Pins made on different servers showing up, and parts of the map being revealed that we haven't even been to on that server yet?
As far as #1 goes no it only works when players are within 50m or so after that no.
#4 you can see 2 out of 3 obelisks almost all the time from anywhere on the map (except in deep forest where you can't see anytihng anyway).
Otherwise, use the GPS or learn to read a map/ environment. Most contemporary cab drivers have given up on maps and only do GPS so you can guess which one is easiest and most efficient.
