Not seeing dino info on single player.

I don't know what I am missing or what is going on. I think update 209 is when it happand. I can't see my dino info from a distance anymore in single player or I cant see info of wild dinos when I get close to them anymore either. You know the info that says dinos sex level and stuff.

Now on my friends server I see all the normal info like I did before and everything is fine when I play on the server. But my single player game gives me no dino info from a distance. Which kind of makes it hard to keep track of all the dinos when they are following me cause I cant see the info above them. Heck I can't see the heart signs or the feeding trough symbol either.

Did the update do this or am I missing a setting? Like I said before my settings are the same and I see all this info on the server but not my single player game. I verified game cache files started a new character from the begining reset all settings to default and nothing. Which is making my sp game unplayable.

Try hitting backspace i tjink that usually toggles that display option if not idk

Backspace toggles the whole hud, I still have my stats on the side and my tool bar on the bottom. Besides it was one of the first things I tried.

I've noticed that myself, but it really doesn't bother me much. It can be annoying though I'll give you that.

Glad to see it's not just me then. Do you know what update you first noticed it on? For me it was the update that wiped all my settings and my player lost all it's inventory stuff.

Did that, like I said I have my hud stats, my vital signs are on the right side of screen and tool bar is on the bottom. I just cant see tamed dino info from a distance or wild dino info when I get close. All the other stuff is as it should be.

Started for me around v208.2 Could have been sooner though I didn't try to tame a dino or anything until around then. Honestly my mind was mor eon staying alive and building a stong home that Rex can't destory within a few seconds.

Yeah I noticed it as soon as I logged in. I was level 50 had a strong base and a bunch of pens filled with dinos. It was the update that the patch notes said that the settings should not get wiped anymore after that time. I will look thru them to see which update that was.

It was 209.0 when I first noticed it. the patch notes in that one said user config files should not get globbered anymore. Since then I don't have the dino info from a distance but everything thing else is fine.
