Why are wild dinos so low lvl on my SP ?
So recently i stopped playing on an online server and starte playing single player and by the time i have been playing the highest lvl dino i have seen so far is 28. Why is this ? I have been around the whole map and im guessing 30 is the max lvl.
So my question is. Is there any way to change max lvl dinos spawn in ? If yes tell me :D

The difficulty level slider controls max dino level. Increase that to get higher level dinos.

Dude thank you so much. I want the dinos to spawn at lvl 120 as a max. Do youhave any clue what difficulty that is ? :)

4.0

That is max difficulty. There should be a slider for that on the Single player startup screen. I do not play SP so I am unsure where the slider is located on the screen. However, if the slider does not slide up high enough, you can manually type in a number. I think 4 is the highest for difficulty level.

Also one thing. I heard there was a command to clear all wild dinos. Do you know of that command by any chance ? :P

After changing the difficulty you might want to use this console command: destroywilddinos
It will kill all non tamed dinos so higher level ones can spawn.

Every time I load my single player game the difficulty slider resets to 1.0 and I have to change it back to 4.0. Something to keep an eye on.

I think if you set it in the INI, it should be permanent.

It was my understanding that the scale for difficulty was based on 1 being equivalent to "max" which is currently Difficulty 4.

0.25 is dinos up to 30
0.50 is dinos up to 60
0.75 is dinos up to 90
1.00 is dinos up to 120

Is that no longer the case? (Or did I read it incorrectly in the first place, which is possible.)

These values are correct unless you use some mods that even further increase dino max level.

So 1.0 is lvl 120 dinos right ?
