Pachy?
Hey guys, I've just got a few questions. Which areas of your maps are pachys spawning mostly on? I've been playing on my single player game for about a week or two, and I've noticed that I can't seem to find a single Pachy on my island?

I have seen them everywhere. Small mountain areas, near rivers, the large mountains, etc. They seem as common as Trike and Raptors compared to the last four new dino types which are always quite rare on the Official Server I play on.
If you are dying to have one, spawn one in using the admin commands as a single player. Maybe they are harder to spot on SP since there is most likely so much vegetation compared the wastelands of Officials.
They are about as big as Raptors and you might think you are seeing a Raptor from a distance they are so similar until you notice the lack of feathers and how slow they move.

I have seen them mostly near mountains, but have seen them everywhere as well, just more of them near the mountains.

I've seen them on the west coast, heading towards the mountains.

Also keep in mind they are smaller than you might think and you could be passing them by. also, kill the population to get the respawn going.

Anyone else not able to damage wooden structures with Pachy?

When i started looking i couldnt find any then was reading up on some stuff and found out that sometimes you have to kill loads of wild dinos for new ones to spawn.
So i found a new command ''destroywilddinos'' and then when the dinos spawned the new ones spawn with it just takes time..

If you still can't find one type "destroyWildDinos" in the console. This should force some to spawn.

I could understand little dmg, but zero? Pretty weird. Destroys thatch just fine.

To add to the thread. I also found mine and others near a mountain.

Pachys are everywhere (well, except caves and ocean). Shores, beaches, forests, plains, mountains etc.

If you are playing on a private server/single-player then I highly advice to use the "admincheat destroywilddinos" command every time a new creature gets released.

I've seen all the ones I have seen on the west coast near the mountain with the red obelisk

Thanks guys! I actually found one pretty soon after posting this, near my home as well! It seems I just needed to kill some of the dinos that were already spawned. Tamed a green female with red spikes, named KO. Thanks again! :)
