Why does riding the dinos exhibit car-driving mechanics?
Seriously, why am I piloting the dinos like cars? They have legs. They can strafe and pivot in position. Instead, turning my triceratops from a cliff edge involves a K-turn, and I suspect turning a bronto requires a 40-acre field.

well, tbh, this guys r massive creatures, i mean even now horses and elephants cant just walk side to side, there legs arnt made that way to do that , the only animals in game that could would be mabye rexs, carnos, raptors, paras and pachys, but anything bigger and it just gets cartoonish, but hey i could be completely wrong

Now, 'strafe' is probably far too generous for what a dino would be capable of, but the vast majority of them should certainly be able to shuffle sideways and turn without moving forwards.

Increase the pivot rate while moving backwards by 300%.
Retain slow move rate.
Problem solved?
