Making tamed Dino's wild
I've always wanted to build a hunting pit where I could breed raptors to have insane stats and then hunt them in the pit with spears and what not
I wish there was a way to make my tamed Dino's wild again. Would anyone else like to see this in game ?

No.

Someone would tame max level stuff and put it in your base then make wild to kill everything/you.
Hmm, I would love to be able to; but I fear there is too much room for abuse.

Like, some @$$hat leaving a bunch of over leveled wild rexes along the beaches; would certainly hinder any newbie progress.

So, I support the idea, but I don't think we'll ever see it (in stock game at least, maybe modded) due to abuse. 8/

for now, gotta stick with the tried and true ole method of putting a bullet in Betty's head. Better left in heaven, then take up too much damn room in the corner of my pen. 8P
But the could do that anyways by putting them on aggressive? I don't think it would be as abused as you think
Aggressive is the same thing but it doesn't attack your tribe the only Dino you might be able to hunt and groom is the gigantosaurus

Agressive dinos can't attack others in PVE, making it wild again would allow you to abuse others in PVE

I believe he meant on PvE servers.
Ahh I see what you mean now :( well that sucks and I see the issue now. My dreams of a raptor hunting ground is dashed lol.
On a related note do you know if raptors that are wild will aggro all walls or just walls they can damage?
I like the idea, but it's too open to abuse. On PvE we can't even pick up dinos that aren't tamed because people would abuse that.

Hmm, come to think of it, I haven't caught a raptor beating on my metal walls ever since we upgraded...

but, I think its more of if they 'sense' something they would agro on the other side, causes them to attack the wall. Not necessarily aggroing the wall directly, more of a cause and effect.

I could be wrong, but I think that's how it works.
So in theory I could go find really high level raptors put them in a fenced area and go hunting with nothing but a slingshot and spears :D
