Vault on second floor?

Can a vault be put on the second floor of a base? If so, what happens if the ceiling that it sits on is destroyed? Would it fall to the first fool? Would that destroy the vault?

Vault drops to the next layer/ground when whatever it rests on is destroyed. When working correctly of course, the game is still in development so things don't always go as intended.

I know that if it's on a foundation, it's drops to the ground. I just am not sure how it all works when the vault is on the second floor, and therefore, placed on a ceiling tile. If it does fall to the lower lvl, what if something is underneath it? Does the vault just crush and destroy the underlying item?

From my experience with 3 vaults.
If it drops its broken and open.

So depending on how u place it.
It might be way more easier for them to drop it and take ur crap.

From what I have seen, it will NOT break unless something else is underneath it like a forge, campfire, ect. If it drops straight to the next foundation/ceiling or ground, then it will not break.

What are you talking about vaults drop ?

Got nothing but floating vaults on pve server 336...

I had thought some recent patch notes said vaults drop to the ground and survive.
