We really need more lighting options in game, and a few need some improvements. kinda silly that the burning stick we can make five minutes into the game is the single best source of mobile light we ever get.
I don't know if that's why it isn't working, but it is possible. Have you tried turning dynamic lighting back on to see if that fixes it?
This sounds like the case tho.
I am pretty sure you are right. I have changed some settings recently to increase fps, but I lost the light from my helmet or light attachment. It doesn't really bother me, and I prefer the holoscope on the assault rifle anyway =)
Did you add the -sm4 to Steam ? Maybe, I have no idea tho, the problem comes from the shader model 4 we use.
Well, I don't really remember what settings I changed in the options, but I definetly had light at some point. Can't really help you more ...GL!
I heard that some lights are not working when you run the game in dx 10.
It's only supposed to be used in cases of extreme performance issues, and this is why :)
