difference between fjordur and ragnorok

so me an a friend started playing recently and another expeiranced friend said ragnarok was the map to play if we wanted the most variaty of dinos but he didnt realize fjodur came out recently. so i was wondering if that had more dinos/creatures than ragnorok.

rag is pretty dated now its a nice map and all but fjordur is much better imo

Fjordur has basically every dino available in the game. i haven't seen any R-species, but according the wiki page, it has them. i've seen a few X-species and aberrant species. the only wyverns it doesn't have are the voidwyrms, and it doesn't have any tek trikes.

it has a lot of various resources available. i may end up making it my main base map.

plus there are some locations inspired by Lord of the Rings, like Moria and Rohan
