Wait the night, the dragon no aggro to megalosaurus,so need 19 between you and the boss, use a yuty to buff.
I use a deinonichus, more easy to recover if die.

They can eat and heal from veggie cakes and take less fire dmg.
But overall the dragon fight is a dps test (thanks to the fire doing % of your hp as dmg) so megalos at night are a good option as they deal more damage than rexes.

It's no joke you can solo the alpha dragon with a Deinonichus, search YouTube for it.
Its why I never used megalosaurus in the abberation boss fight.
In aberration, all know you can solo gamma and beta, for alpha need 5-10 peoples, just shootgun, ammo and cactus brew,no tames
Why mega though? If the goal is just for them to be ignored, theres much more common and easy to catch dinos than megas that would probably considered a much lower threat than you, if your on say a yuty.
