Any Alpha OVERSEER Adcive?
I'm currently preparing for the Alpha Overseer fight and would like some tips or advice that could help. Simply googling it does help, but it does not give any specific information, which I hoped to get here.

Just for info, it's PvE, I'll be fighting along side other players/tribes (+5 hopefully), we got access to s+ tek devices like the mutator and I am currently breeding rexes, rhinos, allos, theriz, daedons, yutys and maaaaybe kentros, but it's unlikely they'll make the cut.

Any advice you can give regarding the tek cave door?
It has been equally chaotic trying to get so many dinos through that tiny gate and around the first corner, not to mention they like to run and slide, then run back right into my mount, facing the wrong way and getting me stuck, so other dinos cannot pass. Is there some way to stop them from running entirely? It's extremely annoying.

Which dinos are a good idea to bring?
I will only "bring" rexes if another player wishes to ride a rex, and unlike last time, I'll try to share rexes before the fight, switching the imprint with s+ mutator and giving an extra rex for potential mate boost, just to maximize damage resistance and output.

The actual dinos I'll be leading will mostly be theriz and allos, though I do wish to bring a daedon and a rhino. What should the stats of those dinos be? Is 30k too little on an allo? In the beta fight they had 20k hp and 100 armor saddles, half of which died, the rest badly hurt.
What about the daedon? What would an ideal amount of food be? If it has food in the inventory while healing, can it consume it fast enough to keep healing until there's no food left? I know kibble and cooked prime meat is best, but what's the best way of utilizing it?

I know the standard for rexes is 80k hp and like 2k melee, but is this really necessary or is it just to ensure the rex for sure will survive?

The previous overseer fights have not been great, can't lie about that, so I just hope to know a little more before this finale battle. Who knows, maybe I'll just get mauled by purlovias.

Be a champ and just do it on foot with a Tek suit and shotguns. Yes it's doable.

Rexes are fine just make sure to pull them off when overseer turns into dragon since it will do %hp damage and quickly kill anything it hits. Use shotguns only for it. Rhinos probably aren't a good idea since you can easily get stunned off of it next to overseer and end up getting one tapped. Us something like an hp drake to ride and shotgun. Dedicate one person to shooting drones. Manas or velos work well for it. Or just a shotgun. Make sure who ever is managing the rex legion knows how to use whistles and how to position them, you don't want to be in the fight longer than you need to be since the periods it becomes invulnerable is on both a timer and an hp trigger. You'll want the rexes on it from the time the shield drops to the time it goes back up.

That's about it really, just make sure to have plenty of medbrews, ammo, extra sets of flak, soups, weapons, and if your using the HG stacking mod by chance, put cakes on your rexes cause that mod allows carnivores to be healed by them.

as for now i'm pretty sure the bleed on carnos won't work. their base HP of 420 isn't really good enough to survive the intense battle. When you have access to Valg you could bring Deinosuchyus because their bleed is calculacted differently. We usually go for therizinos becuase they can utilise cakes with is super usefull. when you are with other players make clever taming groups and split your rex army. don't let them mindlessly chase. have some on agressive and a few to follow every player. split in the arnea and charge the attack when the overseer stops. no creature with base movement speed can keep up with the overseer resulting them in keeping stuck sooner or later on a pillar.
as Serangel said make sure too have plenty of med brews on you to conter the flyging drone damage.
When we approach the boss fight we have usually one on a yuty for courage roar and one on a daedon. when you have lots of kibble, USE IT. kibble has no feeding cooldown and you can replinish food really fast with it. this fight is more of an endurence with than pure dps rush than the other fights on the island.

That honestly sounds a little boring, what's the fun in using weapons when I spend every day breeding for mutations. It's too meta for my taste. Besides, I won't have any control over the rexes as I stated only rexes with a rider will make it into the fight. There's no map transfer, so only island dinos are an option.
I'll mainly be controlling allos and tiggle turkeys with whistle, but I do have a feeling half of them will fall in lava or die before the fight is over.

What stats would your theriz have?
I mutated the melee quite a bit on mine, but they still don't deal that much damage, around 400 base if I ride it with full imprint, but would assume the mate boost gets it to about the same.
Idk if I should drop the rhino idea, the damage is massive, but it might have trouble actually reaching the overseer if there's other dinos in the way and the hp is low. I'm not concerned about the stun, though. Perhaps it would be better if I just ride a daedon and keep the army alive? It would certainly be easier to whistle my dinos too.

Cryo all your dinos and ride a giga till you get to the cliff overlooking the tek area.
Unpod dinos at that point and you wont lose any to lava on the descent.

That works? I thought pods stopped working a short distance within the gate?

You don't specify but are you playing on an unofficial server with any settings changes, that can change options for such fights as well as modded content use.

Well bred for mutations and better health/damage rex are a pretty commonly used set of dinos with a well bred yuty or two and other support considerations.

It's an enhanced vanilla server, so there are mods, but they mostly just make the experience better. The only major differences is being able to stand on allos and the mutator that lets me force mutations on babies, I can even double it so they get twice the stats in a single mutation. It's basically mutation breeding for 5 year olds, that's how easy it is.

I know rexes are the meta, but I also know how awful they are, it's ridiculous how much they overshadow every other creature in the game when their only mission in the tek cave is to suicide jump into lava. I ain't leading a single rex.

Someone got actual decent information on allosaurus stats?

Theris are the meta now, Rexes were in ~2017.

Even with rexes 80k HP and 2K melee just isnt required, it can be easily done with 50k and 1.5k or even better shotties as the other guy said.
