Question about the +10 levels from explorer notes

As of gen2, you can collect all explorer notes for +10 levels. From what I understand, this means all explorer notes from every map. But WC changed explorer notes for a while to where you couldn't collect them unless a physical explorer note was present. As a result, the gen1 glitches could be fixed, but would not give the explorer note. Thus, there is no way to obtain these notes if you fixed the glitches during the year this change was active. Is there anything you can do in this case, or are you just out of luck and completely unable to obtain +10 levels because WC broke explorer notes for over a year?

Last patch said it fixed the notes from gen 1 and gen 2 specifically

The gen 1 notes are still refusing to unlock for me, even after updating and respawning multiple times

The "fix" they did seems to have worked. Mine unlocked once I transferred to the genesis server on the cluster. Didn't have to die an respawn.
6.5hrs of xp boost wooo... shame I'm max level atm though haha.

Just tried that. Looks to be still broken to me. Only about 70% of my explorer notes unlocked. I had to manually collect the rest of the gen1 glitches a second time. But some of the gen1 glitches dissapeared upon me approaching them leaving me unable to get the glitch (a second time) and thus unable to get the explorer note...

After the patch i went to get the glitches again for the explorer notes and only 10/30 showed for me, still missing most of the glitch explorer notes.
