Hello! I was wondering how to farm metal fast.i bought ark a month ago bc my friend said it is good. any tips?

Some creatures get massive bonuses for harvesting different resources. Ankylosaurs get a bonus to harvesting metal, and are really easy to tame.

Ankylosaurus can also carry much more they get an 85% weight reduction for metal, if it is raw, so you can farm a lot. Also i suggest to get the mod solo farm ankylo, that lets you put them into a mode where they automatically attack all the time to put less stress on your mouse and your hands...

Yushm ankylosaurus are the best... but i find it FUN to use a Mantis.. they just wiggle funny..

If you are just starting out, try heading to the top of a mountain and look for shiny gold colored rocks, they give the most metal

Also metal gets very heavy really fast so bring a Dino with a lot of weight points or tame an argent
