The easiest way to kill the Giganotosaurus is to simply run up to it with a dilo to blind it, once the dilo spits at it, run up to it and throw your own, yes, it's very important it be yours, poop in to its face which will poison it. From there it'll be weak enough for you to punch it in the testicles until it's fully unconscious from the pain where you're free to kill it, or tame it.
Hope this helps!
This statement is absurd, since the DodoRex;
- Had front & rear AOE
- Ranged burning attack
- Couldn't be tranqed**
- Took massive fall damage (nerfed)
- Didn't avoid water (partial nerf)
- And apparently has a "hidden" weakness
Gigas are pretty easy in comparison. Simply using tactics and common sense has brought down 112s.tl;dr- Note the "**" above, and use common sense.
ROFL
GGGGGGGGGGG
If the Giga was just part of a larger group of raiders and/or you can't manage to get the rider off for whatever reason, it's best to try to just isolate one giga at a time and surround it. Your best bet is to not just surround it with Gigas/rex's/spino's of your own, but to also throw in a couple crazy high HP turtles and doeds that you might have. Once those things get underfoot it can get really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard for the giga to move pretty much at all and it takes a long ass time to just turn at that point let alone escape. Odds are your still probably gonna take losses among anything that's not also a giga, especially since with the giga being surrounded, it's going to be taking a lot of hits in very quick succession, meaning it's going to rage. At that point you either have to hope your dps is sufficient to put it down from there, or you can all scatter, and whoever it chooses to chase does their best to lead it away or, if possible, toward one of their allies, whom it will hopefully then begin to devour.
Of course if you want to be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I guess you could always find out if it's possible to get access to their gigas while they're offline and try to kite them out of their base or even rage them while they're in the pen if the owners are retarded and keep them with all their other stuff.
If you're defending against a raid from gigas and not just fighting them in the open, or you happen to have a spare bronto or paracer laying around with a platform saddle you don't really care about losing, I'd highly suggest leading them to plant turrets. Those things are basically giga kryptonite in large numbers, it's like you can't even move. If the turrets are on the bronto or the paracer all you have to do is just stay out of jaws reach and either follow it as it retreats or slowly walk away as it approaches. I think if you had enough turrets going you could probably even make it rage and eat the rider which would be pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ funny. Of course you're going to have a hell of a time keeping any other enemies involved from rushing the turrets but that's just how it goes. Also while you COULD put them on a quetzal it would be pretty risky, cause all it takes to lose a war quetzal, is basically slapping turrets on anything else, especially another quetzal, and just getting the jump on it. Not to mention that while I haven't personally tested it yet, I'd imagine a minigun turret would probably shred anything with wings.
That's all good and all...but I live on herbivore island with X turrets surrounding it.
What kinda mosa we talking about?
