Lower timer for females to breed again?
Greetings!

I was wondering how I reduce the timer for females to be ready to mate again. I play singleplayer so each time I logout the timer freezes in place, so 1 day cooldown can suddenly become weeks depending on how much I play. Which isn't much fun.

I have already added this line in the "Game" ini

[/script/shootergame.shootergamemode]
MatingIntervalMultiplier=1.0
EggHatchSpeedMultiplier=1.0
BabyMatureSpeedMultiplier=1.0

But reducing the matinginterval to =-35.0 didn't seem to have any effect :s So what am I doing wrong or what else do I need to do in order to reduce the timer? I would like to reduce it so they are ready breed again more or less right after a birth. They are not breeding on their own anyways, so I don't see a need for a timer, but yeah, not sure its possible to reduce it that much.

Anyways, anyone who can help out? ^^

If you set MatingIntervalMultiplier to 0.1 that'll make it so the timer is very short for when they can mate again

So the higher number after 0. decreases the timer?
For example 0.999999999 ?

Every is set to default at 1.0 if you go to 2.0 it increases how long it takes, if you put it to 0.1 it decreases how long it takes

Okay, then how do I decrease it further?

I suppose it would be easier to ask how you disable the timer CD at all.

You can't disable it completely, but if you set it to .01, the time will be 1/100th of default. .001 would make it 1/1000th, and there really is no point in making it smaller than that, but if you wanted to you could.

Just FYI, you can see how to increase/decrease the setting by its name:

"...IntervalMultiplier" = the multiplier for a time-interval (i.e. 1 hour * [value])
So to "decrease" these settings use values smaller than 1. For example 0.5 takes half the time, 0.1 takes 1/10th of the time, etc..

"...SpeedMultiplier" = the multiplier for how fast something is (i.e. 1 point per minute * [value])
So to "decrease" these settings use values greater than 1. For example 2.0 makes it two times faster, 5.0 makes it five times faster, etc...

I put it at 0.1 and there was almost no changes at all in the timer. I suppose its because I needed to do 0.01?

Existing timers are not affected by that setting (unfortunately). So when you have it at 0.1, then the timer on the next female you use for breeding will be much lower than the ones currently on some of your dinos.

Lol XD I know. My problem isn't the timer as such, its because I play singleplayer so the timer stops going down when I stop playing. So I have to reduce it somehow else I get ever only get 1 offspring on anything.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
