Uses for the Anglerfish?

I love the Angler as a novelty pet and it was a fun tame, but has anyone found any domesticated use for them? I know they're supposed to light up the ocean floor, but tbh it's not bright enough to make a difference.

They don't quite seem like a mid-tier mount between the Ichthy and Megalodon due to the depth and effort required to tame them. It's far easier to tranq a shark off the shore than it is to dive for an Angler, and Ichthys of course are easy. They're decently fast but don't match an Ichthy, and decently strong but don't match a Megalodon.

Just curious as to what people do with them other than hunt them for gel. I kinda just want to put mine in a fishbowl and use it as decoration haha.

I have a feeling that the ocean is gonna get deeper or darker soon to make it more useful. Or the fish itself will be brighter.

There's an unbelievably large area under the entirety of the island. Wouldn't be suprised if we started getting underwater caves that weren't pressurized...

Sweet, I can finally get all that stuff back from falling through the world regularly. There's got to be bodies all over the place lol.
