All settings on Epic + 1080p = 24 FPS in high populated areas
All settings on Epic @ 720p = 35FPS
High preset -Motion Blur @ 1080p = 45FPS
Game and server currently running on a 2TB 7200 RPM Mechanical Drive
That being said, while the developers of ARK have made some great strides in improving performance this last month, it is one of the most demanding games I've ever seen. I would not reccomend playing it on a laptop unless its a thoroughbred gaming laptop (ie something with 2 graphics cards in it, that couldn't run on battery for more than about 10 minutes when it was brand new because of how much power the components consume).
I just thought as it ran 7 days to die pretty well I could manage to do something here. Oh well never mind, back to desktop in a few weeks anyways

Single GTX970
I get a fairly stable 45-60 FPS on High. That being said, I'm using a Launch Option that brings all four CPU cores into play, and that seems to make a huge difference.
