Paint Metal White

I wanted to paint my metal walls, one square black and the next white and so on. But I found that painting them white doesn't do anything. I tried painting it black first then white over the top but that makes no difference.

Painting them white creates the lag of having a painted wall with out the visual effects. also its just really really light, paint a stone foundation white and you'll see.

I wish white would work better also, would love to have a metal snow base that blends in better -_-

i really hate metal because the bloom in this game is on crack.

That's a good point about the bloom. I've currently got stone walls, so not sure yet whether i'm going to upgrade to metal or not. There aren't reinforced stone walls are there like the gates?
