How to take out plant species-X on primitive ?

I see a lot of installations, pillars 3 tiles high with 2 stone ceilings on top with 3 large crop plots and species-x.

Is Ballista still working ? If i target the plants they will certainly kill me before i can shoot them down.
I could pike down the stone pillars they are standing on, but wont survive their defense fire.

Maybe has a Quetzal enough HP to bring them down or a high HP Argent ?

Sweeping them with a bronto tail could work, but maybe you have better ideas ?

Siege tower to go on the crop plots and pike the plants down maybe ? (Paracer platform)

But all of this looks a bit dangerous to me.

What of course works best : Go with a Giganoto there, wipe pillars and plants. But i dont want to use game bugs, and the Giganoto is one.
