Cant enable cheats on my server

i started my server 2 days ago i did some stuff with it but when im ingame and i try to enable cheats its not working and i cant use any admin stuff anyone know why
?

Try looking in here for all your admin needs.

In starter very bat you need to put in Adminpassword=password

Then ingame in console you write
enablecheats password
Then open console again and type
Setcheatplayer true
That should bring up ugly menu
Then all cheats.you type like

Admincheat giveitemnum 133 1 1 0

Sorry typing on my cellphone so it "autospells" for me.. above should be startserver. Bat

All cheat commands above in lowercase (don't know if it's casesensitive)

After you type setcheatplayer true you should get up some clutter on your screen showing server fps your loc and so on.


Cheat commands must start with admincheat and then the command.

Dont need to have admincheat in the commandline, just cheat will do followed by whatever command you want.

If that's not working, you unfortunately will have to Re-start your server to get command lines to work again.

Dont need to have admincheat in the commandline, just cheat will do followed by whatever command you want.

I tried cheat once but it didn't work so I figured many it was only for single player. ..but maybe I misspelled something.. I'll try tomorrow :)

you need to make an admin password for the server in either the ini file or the command line, then of course restart the server, type "enablecheats yourpasswordhere", then you can use any cheats you want as long as you put "admincheat" in front of it. Example: password is sup

enablecheats sup
admincheat giveitemnum 8 1 1 0

Missing arguments will cause nothing to happen when you enter the command (giveitemnum has 4 arguments: itemnumber, quantity, quality(0 for primitive, high number for ascension), 0 or 1 if its an item or blueprint that you want). Typing admincheat giveitemnum 8 1 1 would do nothing as you missed the last argument.

This same process works on singleplayer; same command example:
console:
enablecheats
cheat giveitemnum 8 1 1 0

I have a dedicated unofficial server and I have no problem using the cheat commandline, never needed to use admincheat, just cheat works fine, as long as you enable it whenever you log in.

you also need to re-enable it after you die. God mode does not prevent death by starving or freezing. Only fall damage and damage from dinos unfortunately

Go to your files, ShooterGame\Saved\AllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txt

if you dont have the AllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txt add it.

Then get your steam ID (google my steam id if you dont know what it is)

Add that number to the text document, (restart server) Then you can do cheat blah blah all day everyday with out ever having to re-enter enable.
