Combat Argentavis
I've just perfect tamed a lvl 116 and i want to make it a combat now it has 1500 hp 2400stam and 400% dmg.
Can u please suggest me how much hp and stam should a good combat Argentavis have?

I use 5k hp and 3k stam and then the rest into dmg, but it really depends on what you're going to use it for

I have a little over 9000 HP and 1200% melee. Those were the only two stats I've pumped and I have no problem taking out most alpha's.

With 116+ Argents being semi-common these days, I would suggest taming every signle one you see and breeding. It took me about 8-10 wild Argents before I was able to breed a lvl 224 baby. You'll be able to get a much better combat ready argent. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=552382250

Breeding technically isn't about level but individual and exceptional stats that are more PROBABLE to be present with higher level tames. =)

Still, the more you tame, the higher the chance to get a critter with one exceptional stat.

But as for battle birds, I tend to put A LITTLE into speed because I hate sauntering to the attack. =P

Ty guys, i think this is a good base for breeding anyways

If you're just fighting alpha's you don't need much. You just can't let alpha rexes bite you is all. 3k health, 3k stam, 1000% damage is a good base for any argy unless it's a weight bird.

For my attack birds I go with:

5k HP
3k Stam
150% speed
Rest in melee. usually around 1300-1500%

Its base stars are pretty low. Iwould suggestions find another one if you have the time to do so.
I'd go 3k stam minimum (my freshly tamed arg had it from start )
Then go 1k++ damage 10k health and some point in speed (that's optional ofc)

fighting alpha rexes with Argents you need to be really carfull i had a argent with 10k health and it died in 2-3 hits but i completely underestimated alpha rexes back then

a combat argentavis should be going into battle with a minimum of 10K HP and in excess of 1.2K melee and any remaining levels into movement speed.

However I dont take argents into battle anymore- not since upgrading to Quetzal with turrets

Personally. My combat dinos get bumped to over 10k health... No matter what they are. Push Damage to over 1500%. Flyers then work on stamina and some more into health.

I have two argents. One is for the trips to get metal and obsidian from the mountains. They are pushed to 2k or higher carry weight.

I gave up on combat argents when i got my small fleet of quetz, going to be breeding them now for combat (messed up with current ones and put way too many points in weight) and im currently aiming for 70-80k hp and 1500 + melee, so i can take an alpha rex head on without dodgeing its attacks

Took on a high lvl alpha rex this morning with our current quetz, both at 35k hp and 1k melee. We took turns tanking, it was a really fun fight, lasted several minutes. We downed it but our birds took a serious beating, which is why we want to breed a few and put 0 points in weight and all into melee/hp

I never waste points on stamina, even with 2.4k you'll be able to fight for several minutes straight. For health it's different if you're doing pve or pvp, on pve I usually stop at 6-7k but you would want more if you're on a pvp server. I go back and forth from health to melee until they're up to 6-7k health and then everything else goes into melee. My lowest birds were wild 89 and 92, I've killed alpha rexs solo with both of them.

I agree. If I need to land for stamina there is usually a cliff I can perch on for a few seconds and have full stamina again. When I killed a lvl 88 alpha rex I had to only stop once to regain stamina.
